Bought this for a hibernating bear of a housemate I have. Worked for about 2 weeks before he adjusted to it. 5 Stars for making sure I wake up from the other end of the house.

Bought this for my 17 year old who is deaf in one ear. If he is sleeping on good ear he misses alarm. With Sonic no worries. The vibration gets his attention well. The alarm sound is very loud. If it is turned up I can hear through two doors and 40 feet away. Thank goodness that part can be adjusted.

I love this alarm clock. My 13 year old son refused to get up with two different alarms set 5 minutes apart. Every morning was a horrible battle. We've had this for a few months now and every day he gets right up. No more morning battles. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

haven't tried the sound alarm as I bought this for the vibration alarm so as not to disturb my wife and kids when I need to get up. It says to put it between mattress and box springs but I put the vibrator under my pillow in the pillow case. Feels like my head is in the bed of a 1 ton pickup going down a gravel road. Which is great because I CAN'T sleep through it and my wife gets to sleep still(unless she has snuck over onto my pillow with me, at which time she ends up a bit startled(sarc)) I'd recommend this to any heavy sleeper having trouble getting up to a loud alarm or who has a wife that is not happy about also being woke up.

Every morning was a struggle for me to get out of bed. I would either hit the snooze over ten times or I would set an alarm every five minutes. Sometimes I would be late to work or late with an outing with friends since I sleep so much. After twice of being late to work, I decided to up\grade from my android to pretty much a bomb every morning. Not only can I hear the alarm through my house I am also able to feel it through my whole body! The small device you see connected is a vibrator on steroids that has the power to vibrate your bed. If that isn't a deal breaker for you heavy sleepers I don't know what is. Because I doubt your mother doesn't want to shake you and scream 34;You're late for work again34;.

This thing is so loud it'll make you go deaf. The part that goes under your pillow vibrates so violently that it scared the crap out of me. If you have a problem waking up, this will definitely help. The reason I gave it only 3 stars is that it takes like 30 minutes to set the dang time and alarms. There is only a 34;fast34; button and a 34;slow34; button, not an hour/minute. You can't go backwards and you have to hold the button down and scroll through 24 hours of time to get to the time you want, and if you're like me, you'll pass your time by like 5 minutes, and have to sit there holding down the button scrolling through 24 hours again...and again...until you finally manage to stop it at the right point. Or you can use the slow button and hold it down for like an hour waiting for it to scroll through 24 hours...minute by minute. If the company had made a better way to set the time, I'd have given it 5 stars. I work a different shift every week, so I spent so much time setting the freaking alarm that I already quit using it.

WoW This thing is loud. Works very well. I only wish it had a weekend setting for when my son forgets to turn it off and it wakes the entire house up on Saturday morning
