Mission: South Jersey Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue and rehabilitation facility. Our mission is to provide a loving sanctuary to abandoned, neglected, abused and slaughter bound horses.
Results: In the last 11 years we have helped and rehomed over 400 equines. We have helped people in financial stress feed and care for their horses. Not to mention having groups of children visit, a relationship with Stockton University and Glassboro College and the Air Force.
Target demographics: people in need who have horses, neglected and abused horses, ponies and donkeys.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 17 families with horse issues, 9 families with disabled or special needs children.
Geographic areas served: New Jersey and the East coast.
Programs: Feed help, medical help, adoptions and placements and also children with disabilities and low income families.
