My Peavey Delta Blues amp had a loud hum which was driving me nuts, plus I had just bought it. So I read that I should change the v3 preamp tube with this one. Well, it's seems to have worked because the hum is gone. I also bought new guitar cables just to be sure. I'm a happy camper now.
