Ease of use.

There's some customization to how it behaves, but you can just turn it on and put a finger in, and it works fine. Note that I had to check with my PCP on this, as the SpO2 numbers ended up being consistent but usually 1-2 lower than what a more-professional reader would produce. It's not an actual issue, but I hover right at the point where this device alerts me of potentially-low levels, but in reality I'm fine.

Works well

At first glance, exactly what I thought I'd get and what I wanted. I bought 3 and quickly noticed that the readings vary from one to another more than I expected, for the O2 and sometimes even for the pulse which surprised me. I'm going to speculate that my fingers all have the same pulse when they are measured at the same time.I like the visual indication of a pulse, and it works pretty well on healthy people with strong pulses. However not so well on my elderly Mom, especially when she isn't feeling well. It's often very difficult to get a reading from someone that is having problems, which is when I think it's needed most. I was often force to increase the pressure and move it around a lot go to get it to work at all. When my Mom's saturation is low she needs oxygen and I can't tell if it won't get a reading.I can't say if other sensors are any better., I just don't know.
