I have a 17lb Westie and these leather toys are her favorite chew toy. She does rip them apart pretty fast but she gets a lot of chewing before we have to throw it out. She does not seem to swallow much if anything. I see little pieces around which I throw in the trash. We do always monitor her when she is chewing on it. I think a bigger dog or one who eats toys this might not be great for. All dogs are different, and it works for her.

My six month old poodle puppy chewed through the leather to the stuffing in an hour. She had a ton of stuffing pulled out and was eating it. This is not a safe toy.

I have a two year old Cavachon and it was love at first sight when he got this bear! I bought a plush and this leather one at the same time. The plush was kicked to the curb. This bear has taken a beating every day. He is chewed, thrown, beaten on the floor and is still intact. It's made out of super tough leather, not flimsy glove like stuff. I know that eventually, bear will die and my Charlie's heart will break . All good things come to an end. It's very tough but nothing is indestructible. So, I believe I'm going to order another one as a back up. They are so worth it!

So many durable chew toys lasted a few days or weeks before all the stuffing littered our house. This Spot Buffalo has been a great chew toy for our minature Schnauzer. We will get another one if/when he finally destroys this one.

I have a Boston Terrier Chihuahua mix. She's not a very big dog, although she is tough chewer. I bought this toy hoping it would be durable, and it literally lasted 10 minutes before she had completely severed its front leg and nose, exposing the stuffing inside.This went straight into the trash, and we won't be buying this brand again.

This product claims that it is durable but what they lacked in seeing was sewing the tag into the actual material instead of around the rope the tag made the weak spot the dog chewed the tag out which then broke the seam and the strings which then made a gaping hole where all the stuffing squeaky and leather than ripped out lasted a whole two minutes very dissatisfied

This is the second one of these I purchased because my Chihuahua-Boston terrier loves them. He's a little guy obviously, so they last. The squirrel was his first and it's pretty shredded after 6 months of regular chewing. He's working on the bunny now ears first and can spend more than an hour just gnawing. He doesn't pull anything off of it to choke on and there's very little of the white fluffy stuffing inside. The minute he gets to the fluffy center I pull the rest of it out and throw it away. I highly recommend these for smaller dogs, especially puppies who are teething.

I have three dogs that love stuffed toys and I thought this would be a little bit more durable and lasts perhaps more than five minutes... It did. The reason it lasted so long is because none of them have any interest in it whatsoever, very strange.

Both my dogs love these toys. They do have stuffing inside, which my beagle takes maybe two hours to get to. But he has an awful lot of fun with them, even after he gets the stuffing out. When they're raggedy I throw them away. I haven't found much he can't destroy, and also enjoys playing with.
