For some unknown reason Milo will not play with this toy. I will take it to our local shelter.

Our Australian Cattle Dog puppy loves (destroying) it! She's chewed off it's legs and pulled out all the stuffing. There's a lot. It's actually a layer of relatively thin leather on canvas. I'd recommend it for dogs that aren't REALLY aggressive chewers although, even legless and disemboweled, she plays with it.

If you have a dog who successfully chews up anything you give it, this won't work for you! My dog had the stuffing out of it in less than an hour and swallowed part of it. This might work for a non destructive chewer!

We have a dog that is a fairly heavy chewers. She loves these but basically destroys them right away. She will periodically go back to the leather scraps and play with them. Even though they don't last with our dog, I would buy again bc she seems to enjoy them. I would not recommend if you can't trust your dog not to swallow filling or leather bits.

Photos are of usually what is left after my dog rips the thing apart.

After a couple weeks the nose, tip of the tail, hands, and feet are all gone and the squeeker has been pulled out but it is still my dogs favorite toy and loves playing fetch with it. I will keep it as long as there is something left of it and she still shows interest in it. Important thing is she is happy with it.

Our pit bull got 4 toys for Christmas. The first one lasted about 45 minutes. The second and third made it a couple days. By the New Year, the buffalo was the only survivor because the dog showed no interest in it. It was March before he showed any interest but when he did, he managed to tear it up in just a few days. The picture shows the hole he made today. Once he gets to the stuffing, we throw it away and begin the search for the next “indestructible” toy.

Since its a natural leather product I felt it might withstand the puppy chewing. Not so- had to take it away from the puppy before he would swallow pieces!

My sweet boy is an aggressive chewer and within 3 days he has the bunny open and all the stuffing pulled out. After that it takes him quite a while to dismantle his little bunny pal. I have purchased this multiple times since he loves it and carries it all around the house so proud to show off his bunny buddy. I do end up picking up bits and pieces off the floor after a chew time but am happy he doesn't try to swallow it.
