Flat and smart. No bulging foot that gets in the way when the pedestal is dismantled.

Used pan head stainless screws instead of oval head as the oval ran out of thread and felt stripped...but the plate is well made and worked as expected. I bought two for my jon boat....it's not enjoyable cutting into the boat, but have confidence...used a 2 1/2 hole saw.

AFTER INSTALL I BOUGHT ANOTHER TO REPLACE THE ALUMINUM ONE I ALREADY HAD. FITS BETTER AND LOWER PROFILE.

My old seat mount broke around the weld on the bottom. This unit was the perfect replacement for it. All the holes lined up perfectly and it looks to be of better quality (much smoother welding) than the old unit.

These are really nice replacements for boat seats. The nylon bushing makes the seats easy to remove and the brushed stainless looks so good I'm gonna put these on top of the carpet instead of under it.
