Mission: The Springfield Rescue Mission (SRM) developed Emergency and Rehabilitation Programs providing: An Emergency Shelter for homeless men. Men's New Life Rehabilitation Program, a 12-month residential, Christian rehabilitation program for men. Transitional Living Programs offers men that graduate from our New Life Program to receive free services to transition back into the community. Community Outreach Meals provides food to community charities, churches and organizations doing like-minded work. Public Breakfast and Lunch provides nutritious meals six morning per week. Operation SONshine is a mobile- food service distributing meals to low-income neighborhoods. Give Away Center distributes to men, woman and children items of clothing and other items. Holiday Banquets serves individuals a full menu, traditional holiday meal during the Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
