As an artist, I'm always wanting a sharp pencil for drawing. I've tried many kinds over the years and most handheld ones don't work well. This one is a self-contained sharpener and holder for the cuttings. It weighs nothing, small, perfect for my travel art bag. it fits most artist pencils and hold the pencil in the perfect position to sharpen with just a few turns. Great job people!

I've had it for 3 years and it continues to perform really well. I use it frequently. I was hoping to get the purple, but I randomly received dark blue. It still works and that's most important.

This is a good pencil sharpener only for harder lead pencils only. I use it for my Crayola, Crazart, and Sargent Art colored Pencils only. It does give a very good sharp point after sharpening. If you have soft lead pencils it does break the lead off while you are sharpening the pencil. It is easy to use and the top screw off to dump the pencil shavings.

I use this for my Staedtler colored pencils (might as well be consistent!), and this works great. It's sharp, leaves my pencils to a fine point and the bucket screws on easily and securely. Very happy with the result.

The outer part is plastic, but the sharpener inside is 100 metal, so it is going to last. Easy to open dump out. Blade goes all the way to the end so it doesn't break the tip of your pencil like many other sharpeners I've had tend to do. Gets them nice sharp.

This sharpener really sharpens pencils to a perfect point, easy to empty. I'm hoping it continues to work as well as it does now, since there's no way to sharpen a sharpener. My other pencil sharpeners lost their ability to sharpen within 2 or three months.
