Good Value for the price. We added a piece of plywood (painted white) under the mattress to make the bed sturdy. The side rail is a bit flimsy and will eventually break from use.

I put this bed together by myself. Some parts would have been easier with a second person but I could still do it. The directions were easy enough to follow. I only wish they had labeled the hardware to identify the pieces better. They are labeled in the instructions but not on the pieces, so I spent a lot of time trying to decide which screw was which. Overall it is very sturdy, very solid. A great deal for the price.

My daughter and I put this together in about 2 hours, which seemed resonable. The biggest problem we ran into was that none of the hardware was labeled. There were pictures but they were not true to size and the same picture was close to several different bolts/screws. We figured it out but a few labels would have made the whole process much easier.

I got the version with shelves for $260 and it was a great value. The instructions are well illustrated with just one step shown at a time for clarity. The parts were packaged well and in good shape, with some minor nicks and rough patches where the wood wasn't as well sanded/painted. It's fairly rigid and only creaks/sways minorly when you move around.My main complaint is that the support slats are way too spaced out. There are only 7 provided for a twin bed, and when I (100 lbs) lay on 9 foam mattress on top, I can definitely feel where the bed isn't supported and is sagging into the gaps. Unfortunately, per the instructions, the slats are held in place with screws and thus not easily replaced/supplemented with more. A better solution, as was the case with my old bedframe, is to use velcro adhered to the frame and the slats.

We tried hard to assemble with unclear set of instructions only to find we are missing a full set of screws. We ordered the same exact bed and still missing the same set of screws. Both are going back.

Bought for my 7 year old daughter. Took my husband and I about two hours to build. Instructions were easy to follow. Bed is sturdy. Love it.

This bed was not difficult to put together. But It took a while. I did it myself with the help of my two children. Overall my daughter is super happy with it.

This is a very nice bed, and looks great when put together. I was worried about it being difficult to put together but It wasn't too difficult. If you are good at solving puzzles or are mechanically inclined this will be super easy, just make sure you have another adult with you to help out. My one complaint is that while we were moving it against the wall, one board cracked. We had to reinforce it with a steal plate. For nearly $600 I would expect better quality wood. Overall though I would recommend you buy it if you are on the fence.

My daughter loves it. Purchased a 6 mattress in order to have more rail height. My daughter is a wild sleeper and of course I don't want her falling off. Great for trying to utilize the most of a smaller bedroom.Assembly was simple and easy, assembling it by myself.If I had any complaints, would be the wood slate supports that the mattress lays on. Having to screw them all down is annoying, as it would make for a more frustrating tear-down if you wanted to move it to another location. Also, as being as high as it is in the air most people are going to position this loft into a corner/against the wall (physically unreachable). I only screwed down the end pieces. Another dislike towards the support slates are how far apart they are from each other. That gap should easily be cut in half. The next complaint would be the front rail that connects to the ladder post depending on which side you placed the ladder. It is connected by a screw on one end and wood dowels on the other end. What? why? I fail to see how this would support a child that is resting their weight on it. Anyways, it didn't matter because I wasn't willing to test it or challenge the design to be proven wrong, daddy hooked it up with added support measures.As you can see from my ratings, I obviously stand by my purchase and this product at hand. The price alone is the biggest selling point. Even if you feel you need to make safeguard adjustments, everything in-between is so minor in comparison towards other lofts that can cause you thousands AND still have their issues. Adding extra screws brackets or laying a piece of 1/4 plywood down over the wood slates if one so wished, while saving hundreds of dollars just sounds logical to this guy. Plus, you could add attachments they sell on their website down the road if you wanted them. Flexibility? Yes please. Who doesn't love having options?I give this loft 5 stars 2 thumbs up!

I love all the options it comes with! Our 6 year old loves it, and I can lay up there with her (I'm 135lbs). It's sturdy too! We looked all over and compared and for the price, we are so happy we went with this one

We got this bed for our daughter who also shares a room with her 2 brothers so we needed more space for toy storage. This bed was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The stairs are easy to use for the kids (agree 4 5) it has so much room underneath for all their toys!

What you need to know about the high loft with wraparound desk! 1. Bed came in two boxes. Make sure you open both boxes (unlike me) because there are two sets of instructions and they assemble in a very different order! 2. I put this bed together by myself except for an extra hand long enough to insert the boards joining the head and footboard, so it can be done alone otherwise. 3. This was the worst part! There are a ton of screws/rods and they came in one loose gallon sized bag!! I spent the first 30-45 minutes using the instructions to figure out which was which and spread them out with post it notes labeled with the part numbers. 4. Have a drill for securing the track of slats for the mattress support. I repeat..have a drill! 5. Buy this bed! It's gorgeous and sturdy and my daughter loves it!

It took most of a day but we put it together and my daughter loves it! The bed looks really great and feels sturdy. So far we are happy with this purchase.

After searching for months and ordering others that came in without parts or unclear instructions, we found this one and it's perfect. We bought the one with shelves and the desk and we love it. It's sturdy, looks nice, deep enough for a decent mattress, and the wood looks nice. Best one we found and a really good price and I shopped around in stores and online for months!!

Clean and gorgeous design. Love the fact that this is SOLID WOOD! Spend the extra money and get this company's products! I read reviews on so many others with much lower weight ratings and they seemed to not have the great materials this bed has. It's so sturdy and the configuration of the desk and shelves is super functional. I also really liked the fact that you could choose the ladder side. My kiddo got it as a surprise and LOVES it. It was packed well and easy to assemble.

Definitely a great bed for small rooms. I threw out my eldest daughter's bed and got this one for the purpose of needing extra storage space for my newborns clothes and other necessities. I was able to fit 4 plastic drawers and a 3 shelve console table underneath the bed. And I still had space on the other side for the bulky boxes. Bed is pretty sturdy and my daughter likes it .

Unpack the box and put the boards in number order, determining the bolt numbers was a pain since they are not numbered so count the amount of each to determine the use. Love the book shelf and was easy to assemble with two people.
