Great oil lanterns. Make sure to check the gasket when you unscrew the chimney as it may have moved during packaging or delivery. Enjoy.

Obviously not the best overall quality. With that said, for back up lighting or even camp sight heat the lamps are ideal. Will not break the bank. Satisfied with purchase

Great product. No problems or leaks. Trimming the tip of the wick into a dome shape will put off more light without sooting. Bought one and after using it quickly decided to order 2 more. Great for patio lighting, going to the chicken pen after dark to gather the eggs or for emergency use. Would recommend this product to anyone!

Excellent construction for the price. Have paid a lot more for oil lanterns with no better construction. Own 3 Stansport 12. Use them for accent lighting around the patio. Filled with citronella and hung from shepherd hooks. Great lantern!

Most importantly: do not sleep with your lamb lit. There will not be enough oxygen in a sealed room for you and your lamp to survive as you sleep and your lamp will win that battle as the laws of physics will not be favorable to you.This is a very good lamp. Watch some YouTube videos if this is your first lamp. My lamp works great for $7 although if it cost much more I would get something with a name brand.

I bought these for power outages and use K1 kerosene. I tested them and they work fine and they are solid for the price. I bought 4 for a power outage and hopefully they will sit in the garage and never be used. I got caught last winter with a three day power outage and it was miserable. I am now preparing with a kerosene heater, food supplies and water.

We were first drawn to this lantern because it is an amazing value. We wanted to have a few at our home in the event that we would lose electricity. We were pleased to see how easy it was to operate, and how much light it gives off in a dark room. They are lightweight, and easy to carry around. We are going to buy a couple more to have on hand.
