Decided I'd like to have a source of dependable back-up light. Storms and power outages are so crazy lately. Had an antique one years ago but left it for the new owners when I sold the house it was in. This one is a great medium size and quite nice looking too. Super value.

My son was fascinated with oil lamps so we got this one to play around with. We have already burned through the wick that came with it. I got 30 feet of new 1/2 wick (ASIN B08PJS864C) for $8 and it was very easy to install a new section of wick and get the lantern running again.So far after at least 10 hours of use we are having no problems at all. It is not the beefiest or best made lantern but for $5 it has proved to be a great value.

If this lantern didn't leak it would be a decent one. However, like so many other reviews state, the bottom crimp leaks fuel. I am going to try and clean it up and run solder around the seam.

Works great and i got it on sale. (7$) Not as sturdy as my 1960's model ( nothings made the same now a days)I've had for years but very good for the price.

Great product. No problems or leaks. Trimming the tip of the wick into a dome shape will put off more light without sooting. Bought one and after using it quickly decided to order 2 more. Great for patio lighting, going to the chicken pen after dark to gather the eggs or for emergency use. Would recommend this product to anyone!

Excellent construction for the price. Have paid a lot more for oil lanterns with no better construction. Own 3 Stansport 12. Use them for accent lighting around the patio. Filled with citronella and hung from shepherd hooks. Great lantern!
