I bought these (10) and stored them away for use in a blackout situation. They seem to be good enough, hopefully I'll never get to find out!

We used 7 of this size and 3 of the small Stansport Hurricane lamp for centerpieces at a wedding reception after painting them to match the color theme. They worked well and gave off a nice light with the warm feeling we were looking for. We got them from different suppliers and all arrived packed well and on time and we were happy with the price. I would buy them again just to have as a back up for power outages.

I was able to buy the re-fill wicks and lantern fuel. Burns slow and gives you that candle light affect without the danger of an open flame. I keep it on my fireplace stoop- enjoy it.

this is a very nice lantern for the cost.gives a good amount of light.i use mine camping and fishing at nite.easy to operate adjusts for varying amounts of light.

I really like mine. I have 2 and they both arrived with the class intact! The light is pretty bright, they are easy to use and the base is pretty stable. I do run a high quality lamp oil in them not Kerosene, it works just fine with out the nasty smell and soot from kerosene. There is a long wire handle that is nice, it just is hard to see in the picture.

I used this lantern as a lamp for my husband and he loved it! With just a simple cord kit you can make it into an easy to use and flame-less light!
