I found an old Coleman single burner stove at a yard sale that was missing the bottom piece. Now I have a fully functional one for under $10. This is better than the original.

I live in a very windy valley, and I lost my other footing for my lantern, so with the ease of ordering another one, I am very pleased with the new feet that come out for extra support for the high winds where we live

Really not much to write about, good solid base, fits the 16oz propane bottle very well, secure. And it has legs to expand the base if extra support is needed, so far i have not needed the extra but nice to have just in case. I would have to give the edge to this one over the coleman because of the extra support area that is available.

Fits my coleman tank perfectly. I bought it because the stands on the catalytic heater stands were too weak and weren't holding up anymore. This makes my catalytic heater a stand up heater

Bought this stand for my heater. It works great and properly fit on the small gas canister. I recommend this to everyone.

I have two different brands of propane canisters. One has a preinstalled plastic ring around the bottom and this base fits it very well. Light and sturdy. I have other canisters that do not have the plastic rings around the bottom. These do not fit the base well and it falls off. Its ok if you leave it standing in one place, but I carry mine around while clam digging at night on the beach and need the base to be tight.

This is a very nice propane bottle base for camp stoves or lanterns. I like it better than the Coleman bases.

This unit will allow me to take a one pound propane cylinder along with me when I camp, fish, or hunt. I can warm food, make coffee, etc.

I have a coleman heater and I like the larger foot print of this base. It is more stable to use.

These provide a nice stable base for Coleman fuel tanks that you use with Coleman (or similar type) cooking rings & heaters. This base has performed well, keeping top-heavy equipment attached to the top of the fuel tank from toppling or wobbling. I'm pleased with the purchase

Does exactly what it is suppose to do. A stable platform for your propane cylinder. I really like the fold away legs.

Through the years I have purchased a variety of devices (stoves, lanterns and catalytic heaters) that screw onto the top of 16.4 oz propane tanks. Most came with no base, others came with simple, round and rather narrow bases not much larger than the diameter of the tanks themselves.A Coleman lantern (Coleman Two-Mantle Propane Lantern) purchased about ten years ago came (and still comes) with a surprisingly superior base having recessed, web-like feet that rotate outward to provide a far-more secure base. Sadly, this base is not available separately or with any other Coleman product. The next-best base is this Stansport's base. Yes, it copies the best of that Coleman base with its four swing-out web feet. But, its plastic is much thinner and its edges much sharper than that Coleman base (the "Stansport" label was applied very crooked and was torn on every one of the four bases I have purchased so far - a minor but annoying imperfection).Still, this Stansport's rotating feet are a must for stand-up stoves, lanterns and catalytic heaters to minimize the chance your propane tank and device will tip-over, a likely disaster (and potential deadly one) when the device is in use.
