Should be great on hikes at camp for my 10yo son. The attached straps are a nice touch so they won't get lost.

I was looking for something inexpensive and light weight. This was it. It served it's purpose, but not in luxury. Functional, but not much more than that.

It is definately a thin pad, but you get what you pay for. I've already been able to use this on a camping trip and it worked. I gave it four stars because we ended up camping right along a river on ground that was mostly rock. I slept great and didin't notice how well the pad had worked until I rolled it up and saw all the marks from the rocks on it. This is exactly what I wanted. A pad that was small, light weight, and cheap. It works great for me and I am 6'1.

I have no experience with this kind of pad, so I have no real comparisons. Anyway, it made his job, and then I am happy!

I purchased this for my child who is a Boy Scout. He frequently goes on campovers and backpacking. This product is extremely light which makes it easier for him to carry on his backpacking trips. So far he is very satisfied with the product with its attached straps for rolling-up and securing it. Price was also very economical.

Bought four of these for the kids to use while camping. They said they did not feel the ground at all. Only complain was that they did not really stop the cold. They fold up easy and store very nice.

I see some negative reviews regarding the sellers of this pad, by other reviewers. This is negatively impacting the product rating itself. This is unfair. This is the standard blue pad you see many backpackers carrying. It is exactly what it appears to be. I am very happy with the product and I especially like the fact that the cinch straps are built into the pad itself. The price is fair and therefore since I have no expectations that this pad is something other than what it is I give it five stars.

This pad is great if you do not anticipate sleeping directly on rocks. I gave it a 3 because it tends to compress itself where there is pressure due to the nature of the material (kinda squishy). It is extremely light and rolls up nice and small. I wish it came in green though.
