I was worried that this would not be sturdy enough to hold a big dutch ovem. The cast iron poles are more than sturdy enough. I'll attach a picture when we start cooking!

Gift it to my husband. Took a camping at work well. Easy to use. Really good option for Dutch oven used over a campfire.

Broke my cheap Walmart brand tripod when I tried to use dutch overns with it. Found this and love it, fantastic product and surprisingly low price. Easy to use, put down, and transport. Easily supported my 8qt cast iron dutch oven filled with food.

Just make sure those feet are inside the rock ring and planted well, and there's no issues at all. The hardest part about setup is getting it centered over your fire just right since it does want to be off center a bit due to how all 3 are connected at the top.

This tripod works great. We have 2 collapsible ones that double as spit roasters, we needed a dedicated tripod. This fit the bill and was much more affordable than having one made. The chain comes in handy rather than play around with s hooks. If you like to cook over the fire, this is a great way to do it. Even if you just want to make your morning coffee this is worth it. I love it

Compact, very sturdy, semi lightweight, adjustable, great value, etc, etc there's a large group of us that gathers about twice a month. We cook using this stand all weekend. The picture is a full 14 qt Dutch oven it won't let you down.

A little less than expected. Too short to get very high over the fire. It worked, but I will likely purchase something else better. Should have saved my money and time and effort probably and bought something a little better to begin with.

Box that enclosed the poles was damaged and bag had a hole ripped in it where the box damage was located. Poles aren't damaged, just the bag carrier. Bummer.Still works and is sturdy.

My daughter had this on her wish list for Christmas. I thought it was for her husband, they plan to go camping. He opened it and was so excited and they had this long discussion that it was for her and not him. He didn't give it to her. Quite funny, but they BOTH like it very much!
