Works like a charm. I'll probably rig additional chains to hold a travel grill as well, which would have been nice, but works great with the dutch oven!

We actually bought the tripod for cooking on our fireplace if the power goes out and it fits perfectly. Haven't used it yet but sure it will do what we need it to.

I like the product, but what I didn't like was the 50 tv size box it was sent in compared to a tent pole size product inside that box.

Works awesome with my 12 quart cast iron dutch oven. Very solid base. It is very secure and I don't have to worry about the pot tipping because the tripod is extremely sturdy. Perfect height also so I don't have to keep bending to check the food.
