Not tall enough for ground level fires. Buy the Lodge Brand at 60” instead.

It even holds large cauldrons (or dutch ovens). Tried it with a 22 liter (23 quart) Hungarian goulash cauldron and tested it by filling it all the way up and stirring it and the tripod held it very stable. FYI: With this configuration there is 8 inch from the ground to the bottom of the cauldron. It came with a carry bag which was a nice surprise.
