I have used it to remove trim clips that's a little further away that my other trim clip can't reach. It works as described.

I grew up in a body shop so my parents turned me onto this tool. I'm now 36 and have been using this same tool since then, over 20 years. I work in Upholstery now and it is indispensible. I have a few other clip removers I use from time to time but this one can do it all. There are probably a few versions of the same tool but this one from Steck is the one I've been using this entire time and I actually even see Snap-On selling them on the truck from time to time. It is THE clip removal tool, don't discount it because it is made in China. China is entirely capable of making good product and this is a testament to that.

These pliers are essential for the professional tradesman that needs a tool to remove multiple push pin fasteners of all type. Especially useful for larger fasteners such as those used on inner fender wells. Could be a bit more stout when twisting and rotating hard to pull hardware.

I changed out the traction battery in my 2008 Prius and needed this tool to pry off the interior panels to get to it. There probably are other tools made for the same use, but this is the one I bought. I found it useful and would not attempt this job - prying off the plastic rivets - without it.

Body panels, interior trim, vacuum hoses and fuel lines. Wish the handles were day glo orange, tooeasy to leave it in the car.

Nice solid plastic pin removal pliers. With the bent shaft You can pry the plastic pins out easily. You can also get the top under the center pin to pull that up to remove the whole fastner. I have another pair of pin removal pliers, but these work much better. Work great on those Honda pins! Pretty solid too, so should last. For my sized hands they work good. Smaller hands, not sure about. Depends on the size of the fastner and how wide you would have to open the pliers.
