The shaft may be bendable, but it definitely isn’t flexible. If the shaft is not bent properly or as explained in the information the shaft may break and make the device worthless.

Nice, HOWEVER: Well made and highly useful in tight quarters. Sturdy aluminum body. However, the 34;extension34; part for which you pay extra is not an extension. The six-sided opening at one end does not fit over the butt end of the flashlight. It does very tightly slip over the wand tip if straightened and down to the flashlight body. It is a functional guard for the light tip and flex neck, and has a pencil-sized hole in its end to let the light shine out. But it doesn't EXTEND the length of the flashlight's reach. Steelman customer service and tech advisors were surprised by this, assuming, as I did, that an extension would fit at the end of the flashlight and allow a farther reach between your hand and the lighted tip; it does not.

Works but is certainly a cheap piece of junk. The on/off switch doesn't work, such that it is stuck in the 34;on34; position. No way to turn it off. Not worth my time to return it, so I just unscrew the bulb to turn it off.

I have an older version of this light but this is a great update. The LED light I am hoping is much more robust then the bulb I had on my old one which I have broken a few. The body and switch are really improved, now these are made out of aluminum and the button works well vs. the old switch which is kind of finicky to use and pokes my thumb.
