Stores my files, but the lock hole isn't secure at all. You can simply rip the top off with brute force. Avoid if you're looking for security.

I bought one to try it out and loved it. I used it for work, had to buy 5 more to put the files in and easy to carry. The top compartment is excellent for putting our pens, highliters.. office supplies, etc. The bins were strong and sturdy.

This is a plastic box. Nothing fancy, but it is intended to be a plastic file box and it does pretty well at that. I put it into use holding papers in file folders around 2 months ago. It stays home and I dont move it much beyond an occasional jaunt to the other room, and it seems sufficiently durable for such use. The little storage place at the top works for holding pens or other such items.

The compartment on top that holds pen, business cards etc. is a nice feature. However, when it arrived the latch for the main box was warped and therefore would not close rending the file box un-usable. Upon inspection it appears that if it is not warped when it arrives then just give it time and will be. The latching material is flimsy and for the price ($20+) it is definitely not worth it. I returned it.

Boxes OK. But poor QC. Of two ordered one came w/o the handle. You'd thing this would be obvious when it was packed.

In-laws were downsizing and needed to abandon their file cabinet. This box is perfect! Holds the remaining files, fits on the bookshelf and even houses do dads in the lid. They couldn’t be more pleased.
