I love old-fashioned, dry and salty jerky. Many folks compare Bronco Billy's to Wild Bill's, and even the company origin stories are similar, so I decided to try this. It's great jerky... but not perfect. My top complaints are that this is a little too greasy, and I find myself picking out more fat than I recall doing for any single bag of jerky in recent memory. I'd also like if the cuts of meat were just a little thicker. This stuff is fairly affordable for a dry jerky but with the fat it sort of cancels out. The flavor profile is a bit unique compared to others, and you might prefer it, though my opinion is that this stuff is about 80-90 as good as Wild Bill's overall.

Great flavored beef jerky. Reminds me of the old style dry and salty jerky that you can't find in stores anymore. Now everything sold is soft jerky that I don't care for.

Finally! I found good jerky. Like the kind I remembered eating as a kid. Usually was in a glass jar. This isn't like the pretend jerky you find in the stores nowadays. I wouldn't change a thing. Delicious.

I buy this every other week . I'm the only one that eats it because I won't share . A 1/2 pound bag usually last me about 6 hours , that's why I limit my ordering. It dry , taste like a dry grilled steak to me , not all those sweet or spicy flavors . Smoked flavors really come through.
