Mission: SAEN - Stop Animal Exploitation NOW's mission is to END animal experiments through cutting-edge investigations, hard-hitting media exposés, and public pressure.
Results: 1) SAEN CLOSES LABS DOWN!Included on SAEN’s trophy wall: Santa Cruz Biotech, Harvard’s Primate Research Center, U of Oklahoma’s baboon program, Cimcool’s animal lab, and primate experimentation at Penn State Med School, Wooster College, and several undisclosed labs. 2) SAEN PROSECUTES LABS!Over 1100 labs are registered in the US - we investigate EVERY SINGLE ONE. If they BREAK laws, SAEN acts! In last 5 years, SAEN secured prosecution of OVER 55 labs. 3) SAEN LEADS IN MAJOR MEDIA COVERAGE!We routinely garner OVER 100 articles in major publications, educating millions and exposing criminal labs along with connecting SAEN with whistleblowers. SAEN has been proved to be “50K times MORE Effective than other groups” in garnering coverage, and thus, instrumental in changing public opinion. 4) SAEN FREES ANIMALS FROM LABS!Today, dozens of animals live in sanctuaries directly due to SAEN’s Sanctuary Fund grants and SAEN’s campaigns effectively targeting labs!

Direct beneficiaries per year: We monitor USDA and NIH databases to ensure that federal laws are enforced and labs are cited/fined; ensure sanctuaries are funded so animals can be retired from labs; attend conferences, hold news briefings, and participate in broadcast interviews to educate the public and media about the antiquated atrocities of animal experimentation and waste of tax money; considered leading expert on animal experimentation issue in the U. S.
