I'm using these to lock up notebooks that I keep very important documents. I didn't like that they didn't come with a padlock to fit this file folder. I took a guess and bought some little ones I thought would be the right fit, but they weren't made for these portable file boxes. I wouldn't think it would cost much to include these. But at the very least, provide the exact locks we would need or even a website that would take me right to the shopping page that would have these locks. Thank you for the quality of information you have in addition to the much improved customer service reps I've experienced lately.Kim

I have been so happy with this storage box. It has a track to hold hanging file folders which is just what I had wanted. It also has space in the top for small items. That is a separate section though and cannot be locked. It doesn't come with a lock, but there is a spot to put a lock on the bottom filing part. Makes keeping track of paperwork and documents so much easier!
