I bought this for my son who is about 150 lbs and 5'8 or 5'9. The fit was just right. Not too loose and not too tight. The jacket is very practical and has several functions.

The jacket doesn't sit right with a duty belt on for some reason the front end lifts up more on the back. It is so what warm but not rain resistant, to confined in the arms back. I wouldn't recommend this jacket for serious Working LE or armed security officer. Better of using it for air-soft.

These jackets provide warmth and comfort for my teams. My guys are out in the elements and are very satisfied with the protection the jackets provide. The arms a somewhat large through the biceps area but not a deal breaker. They provide adequate warmth but also has room if one wants to use additional layers for colder temperatures. Overall satisfies with the performance of the product

I live in Los Angeles, the need for a cold weather jacket is not critical, but we do get some chilly nights in the winter, and I live my entire life at night.This XL jacket fits me perfectly at 5'111/2 and 270(ish)lbs.For me, I'll be wearing the jacket with just a t-shirt underneath. If I do have a shirt on, the jacket will probably only be zipped halfway ( I tend to run a little warm with outerwear.)I got the blue in order to detract from the overall militant look of the jacket, but I do like lots of pockets, and this one has enough for all my EDC gear.If you live in Kansas or Wisconsin you may need to order up a size and layer something under this - or just get a dedicated winter jacket.Live in a more meh winter area? This jacket should cover your needs.
