I received the the jacket today . it was raining outside so I decided what a great time to try it out. As others have said. It does keep you dry . As for being warm not so much. Others commented on the pockets. I had no problem with them. The coat is crinkly as mentioned. And the color was more green than sand stone .One the whole it was a good buy .

I'm an avid duck hunter. Duck hunting as a sport is brutal on gear and you hunt in rain often.Needed a light weight option for warmer, rainy days. Something to put on after I got to the blind.This jacket is stellar.It held up great in a 4 hour hard rain storm.I was 100 dry.Here's what you need to keep in mind:1. It'll keep you dry. That's the main issue.2. It's a no frills garment.Pockets aren't easily accessible. No dazzle in design. Just a jacket.3. Great Hood and cuffsThe cuffs tighten down very well. Kept my sleeves from runoff water.Hood is large.4. It's not meant for tough work.This is NOT your jacket if you're doing heavy work. It'll tear.It's lightweight.Breathable.Very packable.So for occasions where you need a jacket when traveling or at a sporting event it should be perfect.

I received one of these free with a pair of waders about ten years back,, was such a nice and packable jacket it saw a great deal of use.. was getting to show it's age so I bought another,, looks like they improved the seem taping,, should get great service out of the new one!!

The jacket is lightweight, waterproof, and cool enough for summer fishing. It is comfortable and I love the color because it hides me when flyfishing on small, clear streams. Good product.

This rain jacket is awesome top of the line. I bought the pants to go with it so I have a full frog dog rain suit. I was out working on the farm and it was pouring down rain I mean really hard and I put my suit on because I had to get some stuff done and I was dry as a bone this is a very good rain suit it's comfortable you don't feel all sticky like you do with those plastic rain suits it's lightweight and it's durable I would highly recommend this rain suit. I am very happy with this product.

I have long arms and needed to order the 2XL to get a proper sleeve length. For me the jacket size runs small so I'd order one size larger. Love the pockets, it is a bit krinkly and noisy to wear. I'm hoping it softens up with wear. This jacket is supposed to be breathable, this simply isn't true, you have to wear it nearly unzipped to prevent overheating in it. But it's windproof and I like it so far, and it's looks pretty sharp also.

I've run though several variations of rain coats, and not one of them kept the water off, and allowed for airflow. This coat is the answer. One of the problems with my past raincoats is that while they can keep the water off, your body heat exhausting is held with the liner of the coat, and no matter what your working on you will be miserable. Finally a coat that breathes.

Frogg Togg is always a good brand to buy in raincoats for us. Order them a size up to allow room for your clothes and pocket items. This one has a good rain resistance and is lightweight the fabric is a little stiff but it's a raincoat and new.

Why pay hundreds for high end rainwear when you can own this for only $50? Lightweight, breathable, and completely waterproof as advertised, I wore this in the pouring rain and stayed dry as could be. Not sure what more you get from an Orvis or Simms rain jacket for up to six times the price compare to this Frogg Togg Tek. I'm not a super picky person and if you are I'm sure you'd find something that wasn't perfect. But face it. how many days do you spend fishing in the rain during the course of a season to justify a $300 price tag? I fish a lot in bad weather and this rain jacket is everything I could ask for in fowl weather fishing gear.

I wish I could rate tis item however I returned it as it was orderd it too large. It is exceptionnally well thought out for the person who will be wearing it, It is very light weight.
