This fits my 5 year old son perfectly. It's light weight but it's still kept him warm and dry so far this fall. He's a wild one and has put this thing through the ringer over the last few months and there's been zero issues with the material or zippers. Definitely recommend this purchase.

I really like the lining in this rain jacket. Its a perfect fit in the perfect colour that matches his school uniform and its lightweight so its not too hot for Miami and the lining prevents it from sticking to the body. Theres also useful tag on the inside where I can write my sons name. As many parents know you have to label everything that you send to school.

My son likes this raincoat. It is lightweight and protects against rain and wind. I like the mesh liner so the outer shell does not stick to his skin.

Great coat, would recommend that you know what size your child is with this brand though because they run one size up. My child is normally a large but wears a Medium with Columbia.

My little guy loves this jacket. His favorite is that it has Velcro cuffs which makes it so he can keep them from riding up past his hands. Great rain jacket that is good to buy in their next size up but they can start wearing now!

Love this rain jacket for my son. It's the second one we've ordered, just in the bigger size this time as he has grown. Super light weight and truly waterproof. The first time we ordered it was to wear under his soccer jersey when he was playing in torrential rain and cold. It helped keep him dry and less miserable on the field. Now it's great to roll up and shove in the side pocket of his backpack to take to school for unexpected rain showers here in the PNW.

My son likes the coat, happy son- happy mom. I like the quality, and the fact that it's light because my son can get hot even if it's raining. I got a size larger so he would grow into it and wear another coat underneath if he wanted. I would recommend this jacket.

Great lightweight rain jacket. The XL boys jacket fits my just short of adult boy, 120 lbs. He is medium build. I have the same jacket in adult size. It is comfortable in the rain or in the wind as a windbreaker.

This jacket is a perfect lightweight summer rain jacket. It doesn't make you super hot even in the summers in the Deep South. It is great for light showers and heavy downpours. My son loves this jacket and the size chart is spot on.

I bought this coat for my six year old grandson. I went up a size so he can put a hoodie under it in the fall. It's a great three season raincoat. It came down to the mid thigh area. Lightweight and a great value for the money. First wear was at football practice. I put it under his shoulder pads and he practiced in the rain for 2 hours. He was completely dry when he took it off. He says it's comfortable. And there is a full size attached hood. Columbia always makes a quality garment. You won't be disappointed. We got the high visibility yellow/green worn by emergency personnel and construction workers. Great color for kids out on a dreary rainy day.
