This jacket was perfect for my first ski trip. I got many compliments from people on the jacket color at the resort. It kept me very warm, and some days I only wore the outer shell with other layers. It held up well to snow, wetness, and wind, and the abundant pockets were great for storing all my gear, lift tickets, wallet, etc. The zippers for the interchange portion were solid, and the only thing I didn't like was once you sweated on the interior puffy jacket, it was wet inside if you wore it by itself later (the jackets zip together inside out). I didn't have to alter any of the measurements. I'm 5'1, 210 lbs, with a 42C chest. I was able to sit down while fully zippered in a size XL.

I got to say is really good quality and keeps you warm and dry! I love that they are two separate jackets and when you need them both together you can secure them well. I will for sure order another one for this coming winter!

I have not worn it yet but tried it on several times and it looks great. I have ordered and returned two other and this one seems to be the winner. Getting ready for a trip in the late fall to Montana.

Got this jacket in navy for an Alaskan cruise in early June. I never wore the puffer layer and substituted with blue fleece. The puffer will be great for winters in Tahoe. The jacket has a little shaping that provides a feminine cut. Washed well. Perfect layering piece.

Coat is warm and comfortable. Wife is 5-2 155 DD bust. The large is a little snug on bust but overall a great and warm jacket. Has an oversized hood to fit a helmet when skiing. Jacket with puffy liner also riled up nicely into hood for easy packing.

Keeps the wind from penetrating during cold winter months. Very warm during winter use. Easy to take apart and just use the inner layer. Fits as expected. And covers the behind to keep the wind from going up you back. Now I did buy a little bit bigger than I wear so I could wear sweaters.

Super cool jacket, it is basically two jackets in one. There is a nice wind breaker jacket which is perfect for the rain or cool weather. Then the thicker jacket for the cold weather or both for extra protection. Both jackets excellent quality, and plenty of pockets. This is the best impulsvie purchase I have ever made.

I live in the Midwest so the winters can be very unpredictable AND very cold. Having a good coat to ward off the freezing temperatures is a must, so this coat fits the bill all the way around. It did not disappoint for wear. I bought a black one and I love it. I do recommend this coat for anyone who really wants to stay warm. Have a good day!

Needed a ski jacket quickly. Came quick, warm and comfortable. Roomy enough to ski with movement, Teen loved the true black color. Great purchase. Nice price too.

I bought this because I went to visit a family member in the north pole (aka... very upstate NY near Canada). Being that I'm from southern California, we don't experience cold weather... So I didn't have anything suitable. Did it keep me warm? Yes. Did it keep me warm in -12F snowy weather? Yes... But also no because at some point nothing works, right? But something is better than nothing. Right? To me, anything under 55F is cold... so I was constantly freezing my butt off. Why would anyone choose to live where winters get below zero is beyond me. Fun fact about this jacket, it compressed and stowed in my carry-on suitcase quite nicely. A nice bonus. I wanted to be able to layer up with a sweatshirt or hoodie underneath. I still had plenty of room and didn't feel restricted at all. I would recommend this jacket to other people. If you don't like it, you can always return it... But for the price, I'd say it's worth the value.
