Bought this for Alaska cruise, had 2 excursions on rainy days and this jacket was wonderful. I typically cheat and buy cheaper stuff, but this time I splurged for the Columbia and I couldnt be happier. Great breathability and kept me dry, what more could you want!

I have taken this coat all around the US, its been fishing in Alaska, canoeing on the st. croix, utah, seattle, you name it. The point is, this coat is incredible, on all of my adventures, i never got cold or wet. By far the best rain coat you can get.

One of the best things I have ever bought. This jacket is seam sealed so your shoulders wont get wet in a downpour. I use it while fishing or working in the rain.

For four years I have been looking for a rain jacket light enough to use in summer. The is the best I have found. I did not want the built-in hood, but it does have its usefulness sometimes. I had hoped to find it in white (the best summer color), but this light grey is OK. Glad it has pockets.

Very good looking. Close to waterproof and better than water resistant. The red looks nice.Runs large. Order a medium if you usually wear a large. Its especially roomy in the arms.
