I had a Columbia shell jacket for a decade that I had to toss because the goretex aged and started flaking. I tried to get half off by buying some cheap brand, and got a ridiculously oversized product with very strange melted seams, and somehow the neck was so narrow it would not zip up. Not even a pretense of breathability.Two days wearing this now, and if it lasts 10 years, it's a BARGAIN.

Overall this is a good fit.The length of this in the body was a good length falling onto the hips. The arms are almost too short but will work. Purchased for a 6 foot four long limbed man. Fit him well through the shoulders, the waist is fine. It certainly will do the job

This jacket has lining that keeps you dry and also keeps the wet outer layer off your skin. It is breathable so that it dries out quickly. The hood is designed to stay over your head once you zip up the hood. Large enough to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath.

We went to Alaska and I need a weather proof coat. I ordered a bit larger so it would cover my camera. Quality and durability is great.

I bought this before a week-long trip to England where the weather was rainy every day in the in the low 40s F. This was the only jacket I brought, and I wore it with layers and walked around in the rain A LOT. The jacket was fantastic; I stayed warm and dray with no umbrella. Highly recommended.

I need a light rain jacket and came across this one. The size large was on sale for half the price and large is what I wear. Arrived on time and what can I say but I love it! It has a cinch at the bottom of the coat which is good. It's just a tad too long for my liking but it worked out. The cuffs have Velcro and the zipper has a flap with Velcro down it.

La sueta viene con el logotipo estampado y no tejido como se muestra en las fotos, la calidad que acostumbra la marca Columbia no es la misma. Lo curioso es que esta misma Jacket la venden en la tienda virtual de Columbia.

Got this in just in time for the California rains. As another person commented, this is a great fit for us plus size women who don't have many options in the way of jackets and Columbia has limited plus sizes for women. This is really intended as just a rain jacket/wind breaker- not thick enough to provide much warmth (but that's not the intention). Adjustable hood with cords that are designed in a loop so they don't pull out. Zipper and Velcro closure provides double protection. Velcro wrist closures allow to be tightened at the wrist. Great color options. Ordered the 4x which gives some room for thicker shirts underneath.
