Happy to have found this jacket! It really is waterproof! South Florida weather can be unpredictable. Im so happy to have purchased this jacket just in time for some April showers. The kept me completely dry in a heavy downpour.

These jackets are great used the for a rainforest trip and they kept us dry and breath well to keep you from getting sweaty in the humidity.

I have another model (Splash a Lil) of Columbia rain jacket that I love but since losing some weight, it's gotten too baggy on me. I saw this Arcadia in a pretty pale lavender and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, their sizing between the Splash a Lil and the Arcadia isn't the same and the Arcadia was too small on me both in the shoulders and length. So keep that in mind when ordering...I'd say the Arcadia runs about 1/2 to 1 full size too small. Other than getting the sizing right, you can't go wrong with the Columbia brand.

It fits very comfortably and has room to layer underneath. It is a little long on me but I have a fairly short torso. I have not tested it in the rain yet, but living in Washington, it should be tested out soon enough.

I bought this jacket as a gift, and my daughter is loving it. She usually wears a medium, but I bought a large so she can wear it over sweatshirts or sweaters. She has received many compliments on it. I definitely recommend it.

I love the baby blue color and fits snug. Light weight and very thing and most importantly, it keeps me dry. Machine washable and dryer safe. Highly recommended.
