Mission: StoveTeam International facilitates the placement of low-smoke, fuel-efficient, and safe cookstoves in collaboration with local communities to support families and protect the environment.
Results: Since 2007, StoveTeam has assisted entrepreneurs in Latin America to establish locally managed projects in five countries, employing local people and distributing stoves to their communities. These projects have produced and distributed more than 78,000 stoves, positively impacting the lives of over half a million people, and preventing nearly one million tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere!
Target demographics: Women and children in developing countries cooking over open fires and traditional cookstoves.
