I already have too many keys, so this thing was swell to find. But it's also got a much beefier neck than other brands, and rounded, rather than stepped shoulders that make it harder to break off with a pipe. I'm so glad I found it.

If you're like me don't want to stuff a fat keyring in your pocket, you'll like this lock. It's very easy to set up: insert vehicle ignition key fully turn clockwise. That's it! This is my 3rd lockset - the previous were on two F150 trucks - and they never failed to work, despite exposure to salt brine, water, mud, snow.

This item worked well for a 2011 Nissan Xterra. The lock portion of the pin fit the OEM trailer hitch well. I was concerned the outside diameter of the lock portion end might interfere with the bottom of the step on the Nissan OEM trailer hitch. Not the case. The item matched up to a 2011 Nissan key just fine too. Good product.
