Someome tried breaking into my ARE tool box, they never got in. They actually did me a favor, I bought 3 of these locks and keyed them to my ignition key. Easy to install. The other old locks were keyed to an older Ford. These are now keyed to my 2018 F150. Very happy that no longer have to have a different key.

HiI just bought this cylinder , it fit to my key but it can't lock the bars because I miss one of the part that need to comes on it . Where can I get this part on the attached picture?

Works goodBut do not use a torch to dethaw if they get frozen.There's plastic inside I learned from my mistake.

The item said they fit A.R.E caps and they do fit in the hole, however they won't turn the level because the factory locks have a tab at 45 degrees and these are 90 degrees. Don't waste your time if you need them for an A.R.E cap. They are super easy to key but now I'm stuck with them as they have been keyed.

Bought this for the drive side door on my charger. Well it didn't work there but it was perfect for the trunk. So I switched locks did a little backyard ingenuity and Shazam. Everything works with the same key including the ignition. What the heck. Lol

This is my second set of 3. Re-keyed my truck topper (commercial style 3 locks) for my 2016 GMC Sierra. Then bought another set when I got a 2023 GMC Sierra. Easy to install and works great.

I bought this to replace the lock in my ARE topper, however it does not fit. It still gets 5 stars as it works as promised, just not made for my topper. This same company makes the lock cylinders for ARE toppers, but you have to go through an ARE dealer to get them as they are proprietary. Once I got the proper locks, they work great and key very easily.
