Mission: Street Business School will help 1 million women lift their 5 million children from poverty by 2027.
Results: Graduates in our direct service program increase their daily income from an average of $1.35 to $4.19, a 211 percent increase, within two years of Street Business School graduation. Within one year of graduation, participants in partner implementation of Street Business School increase their daily income from an average of $1.04 to $2.72, a 160 percent increase. Additionally, two years after Street Business School graduation, 89 percent of direct implementation alumni still have one or more businesses in operation. One year after graduation from partner implementation, 80 percent of Street Business School alumni still have one or more businesses in operation. Street Business School and the existing 120+ nonprofit partners will train more than 40,000 women within four years. The impact of Street Business School is sustained over time as graduates increase their income through the businesses they create. This sustained income increase represents access to food, shelter, education and hope. Street Business School graduate, Masitula, has shared, “My children are all in school, we eat and drink, and we are very happy. ”

Geographic areas served: Street Business School is being delivered in 25 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Programs: Street Business School provides highly specialized entrepreneurial training and confidence development for women living in deep poverty, allowing them to triple their incomes. To scale globally, Street Business School partners with other NGOs in impoverished communities who want to incorporate a proven poverty eradication program to their existing work. Each organization learns Street Business School, customizes it to their own community and then delivers it to boost people's confidence and income.
