Can't say enough about how handy this tool is. After being fed up with so-called Stud Finders at the box stores, this simple idea puts them all to shame. Finally a stud finder that actually works. (Great for getting all those screws and nails out of the bottom of your tool bag/box as well!)

I have 3 other electric stud finders. They all work ok but sometimes they can be frustrating because they lose the signal somehow, especially on textured ceilings. This thing never does because it is such a simple design. Find the screw, find the stud. That easy. I am completely remodeling my house and EVERY pro who has used it loves it. My greatest fear is that I will have to buy more when it finds its way into their tool boxes lol.

A contractor with a You Tube channel turned me on to this. We just demoed two bathrooms. This was a key tool especially to find screws in cement board with mastic covering the screws. Highly recommended

If you are using this as a stud finder it's very easy to use. You simply slide the magnet across the wall until you hit a screw/nail and that's where your stud is. The magnet will stick/hold to the wall. The magnet is strong and we are literally storing it by having it magnetized to the wall.I was using it specifically to take out a wall and wanted to easily remove the drywall screws instead of making a huge mess with the drywall by busting it all up. This worked extremely well and was super easy to use. We marked the screws in the wall and used a screw gun to take them all out and then the drywall just comes off in pieces for disposal. This was a great tool for that.If you want to use it simply as a stud finder this would very well for that. You'll easily find a screw and know where the stud is. Mark it and you're done.

Works just as advertised. Even finds screws behind porcelain tile. Worth every penny. Make sure you clip it to something though or it will easily disappear (because the magnet is so strong).

This little round ball saved me a great deal of time. Combined with a sliding nail puller, I pulled about 120 sq feet of drywall in a few hours - and I don't even know what I am doing. Worth it.

No false readings, no batteries to change, and it actually worth on plaster lathe! It's so simple, it's a little embarrassing that it took me so long to find this tool. You'll need some string or dental floss to make it work, and I suppose I could deduct a star for not including that in the package, but I'm too happy with the results. A short length of fishing line, and I'm good to go.

For an inexpensive product, this gadget has repeatedly saved us from drilling pointless holes into metal studs in our walls. The magnet works and usually we just leave it stuck to a wall somewhere in the house. I have yet to have a problem or complaint using it. Pleasantly surprised in a good way for once.

This is one of the simplest and useful tools I've ever purchased. I used this to find all the screws on the Sheetrock walls I was demolishing. Was able to precisely identify and easily remove the screws and take down walls with minimal dust and mess.This tool is a must for any home owner
