"Student Mobilization was founded in 1986 by Steve and Carol Shadrach at the University of Arkansas. College students represent 1% of the world's population. This powerful percent holds awesome potential as the campuses produce the future leaders - the missionaries, pastors, teachers, business leaders, and moms and dads - in the coming generation. Student Mobilization targets small and medium-sized campuses in the South Central United States and currently staffs the University of Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tulsa University, University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, Northeastern State (OK), Ouachita Baptist University, Henderson State University, and also serves John Brown University. Student Mobilization staff reach and mobilize collegians through focused relational evangelism, as well as small group Bible studies and one-on-one discipleship. The Lord uses these interactions to direct and launch young adults to locations throughout the world for the purpose of completing His mission of reaching every tribe, tongue and nation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
