bought this as a gift for son's graduation from Seminary. Was pleased with quality and look. Hope it will serve him well for many years to come. Other reviews said juice bottle did not leak and that was important to me in choosing this one.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! The bottle that holds the wine leaks. The entire thing is ruined because of the bottle leaking.

As advertised, it is what I expected. The wine container is definitely plastic while the oil vial is made of glass

Nothing not to like about this portable communion set. It is well made, substantial (love the glass communion cups) and attractive. The little oil anointing vessel is a surprise plus. My parishioners love it when I open it up for at home communion. Worth every penny.

It worked perfectly. I bought this and donated it. Never imagined that I would be the first person to need it! Clergy delivered the sacraments safely to me and in style! The wine did not leak and the tin was the perfect size.

My husband has been a pastor for forty years and takes Communion to shut-ins. He says the #1 requirement in a Communion set is that it NOT LEAK when the bottle is full and lying in the set. If you read reviews of other sets they do leak. He bought this Communion set even though it had no reviews at the time because he had two sets that leaked and was desperate to find one that did not leak ... and he says this one in his limited experience with it DOES NOT LEAK. He says it is pretty good about pouring without spilling too. He also likes the vial for anointing oil, using it occasionally when the elders anoint someone on their deathbed (Jam 5:13-20).

Quality is good that is why you pay for what you get. Easy cleaning and like that the oil container is glass and the cracker container is metal and perfect size when visiting 1-3 shut-ins or homebound individuals. We are totally satisfied with this portable communion set.
