I got this as the picture for some reason made me think they were slightly raised in the middle. That's what I needed as my sinks and tubs have the pop up (non-removable) drain covers already in them. These do not fit those types of drains but I have no doubt would work well for a flat drain opening that needed a cover. Will regift these.

Works great for catching food in the sink too. It can catch smaller and larger pieces of food but for tiny pieces of food such as quinoa or bread crumbs it won't work. It's easy to clean and the suction holds it down from moving.

I like these because they are larger than most drain covers out there. They are very useful for all drain sizes. And they do stay in place if you are not running water at full force directly on top of the cover. Because if you are tuning water directly on top of the cover yes it will lift and move. I use them for our shower and it works just fine.

Does catch hair in tub drain no problem. My only issue is that it's bigger than I thought and I am unable to use in sink, other than that a good product.
