The knerling had black spots which wiped off. Could have been left over from the knerling process. it wiped off. One of the nut inserts was welded cocked off a little bit.

My wife broke her foot and needed some support handles in our bathrooms. These worked well and were very reasonably priced, quality was pretty good too.

We had our shower redone, and the extra length of these bars are a good safety feature.But the space between the tile and bar is not generous for a man's hand , if he has large hands. Otherwise it's great

Grab bars are a good product for the price.mounting flanges are not as sturdy as I'd like and have to be bolted on ( I would have preferred they were welded on) also I purchased longer mounting screws since the supplied screws were probably long enough if using the hollow wall anchors but I had solid backing and they were not long enough for that.

The finish is very nice and once installed, it helps a lot getting up or moving around. Just make VERY sure it is installed on a wall stud.

I have bad hips along with spinal issues which makes getting in and out of a bathtub a true struggle. I just moved into a new apartment and asked for a reasonable accommodation to have grab bars installed. They said if I purchased them, they would install them. It only took maintenance a few minutes to install and these bars are really sturdy. I highly tecommend them!

These came on time and were packaged well. We ordered two. They have a nice grip area in the center so your hands will not slip. We installed them over tile so it was a little more work but well worth it. They each came with a bonus suction cup grab bar but we will be giving those away as they are not as sturdy and need to be taken down every two weeks to adjust the suction cups to keep them secure. I don't trust pulling myself up using suction and don't want the work of having to adjust them. However, the screw-in type that we ordered are perfect!
