Replacing factory ball joints on a 73. This socket is cheap compared to the price of the store price but is worth every penny. Couldn't do the job without it. Good fit didn't strip or slip. Used a jack pushing up for the lower but the socket was solid. Good product

Remember to also buy a long ratchet for this socket to do its job.

Have not used yet but tried it on a ball joint and I think it needs a chamfer on the lower edge to improve the engagement, seems to bind on the inner edge of the control arm. I'm sure it will still work OK, looks to be a stout piece.

Used to take off my upper ball joints in my 75 Cordoba and worked great. The only complaint I have is with the warranty. Anyone who works on cars knows your going to have to use an Impact on the ball joint removal. Using an Impact on this socket should not void warranty.

If you have an old Mopar, this is the ball joint remover you need. Don't get the 2 inch one, because it's too big. I am still surprised at how expensive these are considering how little you can use them.
