I have purchased the Sunlite 4C7 and 7C7 bulbs in the clear finish as well as some of the spray painted colors. This review is for the clear varieties.I am a light bulb collector and expert on many types of incandescent bulbs. These are very high quality. The filaments are neatly strung, and they do not sag after being in use for a while. The filaments in many lower quality C7s will sag and arc out or are susceptible to static electricity and will actually cling to the side of the bulb, causing premature failure. These are much less likely to do that.I have the Sunlite C7s in both 4 watt and 7 watt size. The 7 watt bulbs have heavier filaments that are more rugged and less likely to sag. They are a little brighter than the 4 watt version.Based on the observed color of the light emitted by the filament (it is softer and more yellowish than some other C7s), I predict that the life will be longer than the advertised 2,000 hours. I have not had mine in use for more than a month, so I cannot decisively attest to their longevity. The soft, incandescent color of the light makes them perfect for window candles and candoliers. As LEDs take over and incandescent bulbs get harder and harder to find, I suggest stocking up on these. This is a great price.
