i didn't expect these lights to be so bright. they're even better to have on at night to get the full experience of bright lights.

Not “purple at all” but a lite pink, total waste of my money, also the bulbs are white, not dark purple like in the photos.. (picture doesn't do proper justice but it's not purple like you want it to be)

Some of the product pictures show a purple lens on a purple base, some show a frosted white lens, so somewhat confusing as to what exactly I was going to get. Color LED bulbs with a matching color outer lens tend to give off much richer, deeper color. Unfortunately what I received were bulbs with frosted white lenses with purple LEDs inside. What you end up with is a washed out lilac purple that has a somewhat pink hue to it. They were going to be used for some Halloween indoor lighting but instead looked like a green house plant grow light. We ended up not using them!

I was looking for some orange party LED style light bulbs and while these didn't exactly meet my requirements, they were the closest thing I could find. I was a bit surprised to see that the entire body of the lamp was not orange in color as the picture shows. They do, however, produce a very nice shade of orange light when powered on.Time will tell as far as longevity is concerned. If I think of it, I'll update this review accordingly.

These are not purple enough. They are very bright. They are a white bulb with a purple strip on the bottom. I was looking for something a bit more dark and moody.I guess I should have looked at all the pictures. The first one shows a dark purple bulb. I was duped

This was just what I wanted. It is a beautiful shade of purple (which is my favorite color). Gave my room a pop of color.

I put one of these bulbs in a desk lamp for reading in bed. I've heard orange light won't affect sleepiness, and the effect was even greater than expected! After opening the book and adjusting the light properly, I didn't read a paragraph before my eyelids got heavy. I could only finish a page before drifting off to sleep!I think the brightness is a bit too much for my use. I have bare white walls behind and beside my bed, so shining the lamp toward the walls softened and dimmed the light enough for comfort... but somehow the brightness is still enough to see sharp detail on the other side of the room.As for the color, it is so purely orange that everything green and blue (probably purple, but I don't have many purple things in my room) in the room appears black or very dark, but I can see other colors just fine... the white, wood, yellow, red, tan, and of course orange show up just fine!

I got these lights thinking I'd have a cool pink gamer setup. Well, would've been cool, but the lights are way too bright of a pink. Not even really that pink. Hurts my eyes too. Wouldn't recommend it unless its for a party

This product works great! We've replaced our bedroom lighting and bathroom lighting. No more disrupted circadian rhythm. Have had them in for 3 weeks. So far, no issues. We love them.

Some weeks after ordering, I installed one of the three in a system where the light is on for only 50 of the time.It failed 153 days after the order date. That is a maximum of 1836 hours if I had installed it right away.It is meant to last 15000 hours.

Put some of these in our dressing room backstage at a production show in Las Vegas, for atmosphere, along with some blue and green ones. These are actually RED, not pinkish, so if you want true RED, this is a good bulb. Bright enough to hold it's own again the blue and green bulbs. Quite happy with them. I was worried they wouldn't be bright enough, but they are. Happy with the bulb, the color and the brightness.
