The blue LED lights are really cool. We put them in our bathroom and they light up the entire bathroom and its really awesome but when I was in there taking a shower, we lost power for a few seconds and before we did, they changed it to yellow, red, green, orange, purple, and then off, then back to blue

The lights were perfect in my red lamp.

I like orange lights because I find it very relaxing. These light bulbs are perfect! They're bright enough that you can see, but still dim enough to be cozy and relaxing.

These don't have red globes, so that means the LED's inside are actually red. Remember for true blue light filtration you probably want the globe to be red unless someone has a spectrometer to measure these I'd be a little cautious.With that being said, these have a lot of positive upsides..1) They have a very low flicker index (Sub 1 on my OPPLE meter).2) The color saturation is very good.3) The wattage use is trivial (3W).However there are downsides IMO.1) Prop 6 warning on them. I wonder if the plastic itself has it? That's not good news for offgasing if any.2) Color on the red is tilted more toward orange than red. I have a chromatic meter, and while it was titled toward red, it was more toward orange than deeper red. Not a deal breaker but something to consider.3) The globe is white, which means the LED's are the color driver. Some may prefer a red globe to filter any potential blue light. I do not have a spectrometer to measure this.I am seeking good red lights to use around the house after dusk to preserve melatonin. This is very important as we're living in a blue light saturated society and it is extremely unhealthy.These are a GOOD solution. However I found a better one. I purchased a few non-Flickering Philips 40W bulbs (Philips LED A19 5.5 Watt Bulb 2700K Pack of 6 (550400) from somewhere else. Then I purchased a can of Rust-Oleum Gloss Apple Red paint. Then I taped off the base with painters tape and coated the globe with the Apple Red Paint.The net result of me doing this was a bulb with astoundingly good color and saturation. While they use a dash more wattage than these, the light they cast is softer and tilted more toward deeper red vs orange. This in my view is a better option overall if your stated goal is pure red light for melatonin issues at night. Which by the way;Monochromatic red light at 100 lux, a reasonable living room lighting level, would take 403 hours of exposure to suppress melatonin by 50Candle: 66 min suppresses melatonin by 5060-watt incandescent bulb: 39 min suppresses melatonin by 5058-watt deluxe daylight fluorescent light: 15 min suppresses melatonin by 50Traditional White Light LED: 13 min suppresses melatonin by 50

The color was perfect bright and cheerful.

We replaced one of our bathroom lights, our over the sink kitchen light, and all of our lamps with these red lights. They are perfect for night time.

These red bulbs worked great for Christmas outside and could be used for a variety of occasions as well. Have purchased different colors in this brand and have been happy with the product.

Has a cool purple glow

Pretty hue of blue and bright. I will use them in a lamp after the holidays as I have red in there now. Cannot attest to longevity yet as I have only used them once to see the color/brightness. Good purchase for light bulbs.
