I got these because research indicates green light is good for migraines. But what isn't good for headaches of any kind is flickery light. These seem to have a visible flicker effect that exhausts my eyes and makes them blurry. Some people don't see this effect. But I'd be willing to bet that there is a cycling of this light, and it flashes on/off in a way that is supposed to be invisible to the eye. Except that doesn't work for people with neuro illness, like me. I became agitated and headachy and had mysterious full body pain with this light. I really need the incandescent only. I find the switch to LED lights to be absolutely terrifying. I'll have to just step down to 25 Watts I guess, forever. Another of the extra costs of being sick. But this light didn't work for me, I could tell it was flashing. It hurt me after about 30 min. But I tried to keep using it hoping it would go away or I'd get used to it. It didn't. I had a couple of weeks of mystery pain from it, instead. We need more research into this. And more options.
