This type of bulb -a 2 prong - isn't the most common type of bulb in our home , but a 2 prong was what our entry, ceiling fixture came with. These new bulbs were purchased to replace the 2-prong florescent bulbs that I purchased when I originally purchased the fixture. Boy, what an improvement! With the old florescent bulbs it was difficult to see into the nearby closet. With these bulbs it is like having a light in the closet! A great and inexpensive upgrade!

So the apartment we live in put these stoopid GU24 base bulbs in all the fans. Then they wouldn't supply them to us, so had to get the most bang for my buck. These bulbs are great! Value is above what I expected. Will buy many more in future

Wife wanted the cooler white one but they seem yellow to me. I got the whiter one. For a closet light fixture where I have to by these special bulbs. Why it couldn't be a regular bulb is beyond me.

First time replacing the laundry room ceiling bulbs since I moved in 7 years ago. If I knew LED bulbs would make it so much brighter I would have replaced the halogen bulbs years ago. I really love the brightness !!!

our utility room vent fixture had 2 cfls that where painfully dim when cold, and not much brighter when warm. replaced them with these leds and now the room is filled with light. note: I did not have to remove the small ballast for these to work.
