I've had to keep replacing a Phillips 26W PL-C 4-pin CFL bulbs in my bathroom fan/light fixtures for years now, probably every 6 months. All of a sudden, nobody carries them in 3500K neutral white anymore, which is what I need.I picked up one of these LED bulbs to see how it would work out, and I just plugged it in today. The LED bulb is slightly longer, bigger, and heavier than the Phillips CFL bulb, but still easily fits into the fixture. More importantly, there are no offset tabs on the bulb base, like the Phillips and other PL-C bulbs have, so it plugged right into my fixture without any fitment issues. Brightness wise, it looks exactly the same as the Phillips CFL bulb. Since it's a LED bulb, it immediately turns on to full brightness with no 'warm up' process like a CFL bulb - something you really notice when the CFL bulb is dying and would soon need to be replaced. That said, the color temp of the LED 3500K bulb looks exactly the same as the Phillips 3500K CFL bulb.Overall, this is a great replacement bulb to the Phillips 3500 PL-C 4-pin CFL bulbs, but only time will tell just how long this LED bulb lasts. One major downside to this LED bulb is that it costs double what the Phillips CFL bulb costs at Home Depot ($6 vs $13). If this LED bulb lasts longer than a year, then it'll be worth it. But if stops working before a year, then I'll update this review with the results and change my rating for it.
