Sunshine Foundation is a national wish grantingorganization that answers dreams of children that have achronic, life-long illness or medical condition rather than acritical or life-threatening diagnosis. The disadvantaged children we serve are from income-limitedfamilies and suffer from chronic conditionsincluding: spina bifida, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome, profound low-functioning autism, brainand spinal injuries, Type 1 diabetes, post-traumatic stressdisorder, injury from abuse, and many others. Parents and family members share with us that themoments of joy during their child's once-in-a-lifetimeDream trip are their happiest memories: memories oflaughter and fun made at the Sunshine Foundation DreamVillage and Central Florida theme parks have helped theirchild during current struggles, and will help them duringfuture struggles.
