Keeps enclosed paper concealed. Can't see a check. Can't see info on bill. Yes, some people still require checks.

Very nice, thick envelopes with paper strip that you pull off to expose the seal of the envelope. No licking required.

The envelopes are not sheer which is good, but they don't stick either! That's what prompted me to purchase these, the adhesive is dried out and old. I need to use tape to keep the envelope sealed.

They are self adhesive envelopes. They work as designed. They are not special. I might have been able to get them cheaper at Walmart but I hate shopping there. It is worth a little extra to have things delivered to my door.
