Make sure you know where your eye bolts on your camper are first! You can't adjust the brackets once the camper is on the bed of the truck (I found out) Used the mounts plus chain securements on my 2010 F350 to pick up a truck camper a thousand miles away. Had never used them before and never had a truck camper before. Looked at videos on how to mount them. The camper I bought had jacks that didn't work so it was a pain to use car jacks to lift a little here then support it then lift again on another jack to be able to get at the mounts to move them in the correct spot. Once I did that it they held great on the way back home. No issues at all with them

Finally put these on our 05 fx4 f150. Fitting them in the back of the bed was time consuming, but most things like this are for us. Been in use for 6 months now and still holding up nicely. These seemed to be the best thing out there for our use needs. Slide in pop up camper is being held in where it needs to be. Had to find/ make short enough tie downs, the double ended hook ones. The brackets on front of bed are a little farther back than we think they should be. But again they are holding, working and still in good shape. No rust yet.

The original running boards were almost rusted completely through only 4 years old. We don't think we'll have a problem with these because they are sturdier than the factory pair.

The bolts are hard to get in between the truck bed and the brackets but otherwise they work fine

On my 2nd set of these (sold my original set with the last camper and bought another) and couldn't be happier. I actually have them mounted and have the rails of a soft roll up tonneau cover over them. Best of both worlds. They are easy to install and hold my older sun lite slide-in in place with no issues. Down washboard and mild “off roaring” the camper stays in place. Well worth the money

Was a little difficult on first time installation. But worked great, held truck camper in place. No bad issues to talk about.

Put these on my 15 F250 for my oversized slide in camper. I was worried at first since i have a terrible long dirt driveway and i drove terrible roads for hours. they stayed tight and secure the whole time with a set of turnbuckles. Perfect for what i need especially compared to spending 10x as much on frame mounts to only use it a few times a year. unless youre doing so serious extreme offroading, these will be perfectly fine.Highly recommend a set of timbrens as well.

I installed in my truck bed in about 30minutes. Put the camper on and was tied down solid in about 15 minutes. Camper is on solid.

After 3 years of use on my 95 Lance Squire truck camper these brackets will hold up fairly well for street and highway use. However, if you need to get to where you are going on a bumpy dirt road they will bend and get stress cracks in them over time like mine have done. I've bent them back into original shape with a 20 ton press but I believe their time has come to be retired after doing this twice now. Going to have to spend some REAL money on truck frame mounts that mount to frame of my F-350. Coming down steep off road conditions finally did these in. But then my Lance truck camper manual specifically says not to take on extreme off road which I have many times while also pulling a 10,000 pound trailer full of lumber and gear. Again, these work well for light use on paved road ways but don't expect much traveling off in the outback!

I have 2008 f150 short bed and they work great for my 1400lb popup camper. I didn't use their tie downs. I used porch swing springs built a bracket and used eye bolt to give the system some give. This works for me because I built a track for the camper to prevent it from sliding in the bed. But they are a bi$$h to install. I put my camper over the bed and lift it up high because the mounts won't clear the jacks. Some people mention the bolts spin but they installed them the wrong way. I would not recommend these for newer trucks their beds are super flimsy compared to my 2008.

I could not make this work for my overhead pop-up camper so I had to use ratchet straps attached to my frame to make my vacation on time. I left these Brophy Tie Downs attached to my bed but when I took my camper off I noticed that one of the welded nuts that the T-bar threads through busted off. They were not even being used so imagine if I actually had my camper attached. Unfortunately I am not able to return now that it has been over 30 days since I bought them.

After installing the units which was very easy to do. I took the vehicle and camper on a 4000 mile trek and put it through its paces. All went well and the Brophy product worked fine.

Got my Lance Squire 3000 from Oregon to California, 14 hour drive, no issues. 2006 F-250 Diesel. The truck I hauled it with won't be the one I use primarily with it so this was a great, inexpensive alternative that would likely work long term as well, I'd just feel better having it attached to the frame of the truck.

Worked to tie down my light weight pickup slide in camper (1450 lbs). However if you don't have 2 of depth on the lip of you pickup bed like my F150 you'll have to get creative to use them. I had to install the bolts backwards, The square head of the bolt which was supposed to be on the outside of the brace had to come through from behind the brace and it took some extra work to tighten them but I got it done and they work OK.
